Jan De Nul purchases the Trailing Suction Hopper Dregder Sanderus for its first project abroad in the port of Le Havre, France.

Jan De Nul Group is awarded its first project outside Europe, in Libya.

The first offshore contract is assigned by order of Statoil Norwat in Zeebrugge, Belgium.

Jan De Nul Group signs the 10-year concession for the deepening and maintenance of the Río Paraná and the Río de la Plata.

Jan De Nul Group executes dredging and reclamation works for the iconic second Palm Island in Dubai.
